Fast and easy coffee cozy
I used redheart super saver and Boye size K/10 1/2 6.50MM crochet hook
Any worsted weight yarn works!
This is a very basic easy pattern great for beginners and crocheters alike!
After joining first round I crocheted in continuous round, but if you prefer join at end of every round with slst to first sc, ch1 and continue.
And hear it is....
1: 22 foundation sc join to first sc. ( if you are not familiar with foundation sc then chain 22, careful not to twist, then 22 sc around)
2&3: sc in each stitch around (22 sc)
4: sc in 10 sts, 2 sc in next stitch, sc next 10 sts, 2 sc in last st (24 sc)
5&6: sc in each stitch (24 sc)
7: sc in 11 sts, 2 sc in next stitch, sc next 11 sts, 2sc in last stitch (26 sc)
8&9: sc each stitch around ( 26 sc)
10: sc in 12 sts, 2 sc in next stitch, sc next 12 sts, 2 sc in last st ( 28 sc)
11&12: sc each stitch around (28 sc)
13: sc in 13 sts, 2 sc in next st, sc next 13 sts, 2 sc in last st ( 30 sc)
14&15: sc around (30 sc)
Now let your imagination run wild with how you want to embellish your cozy or use as is
Fell free to leave a comment or any questions, I would love to see how everyone embellishes their cozy and post your pictures here
Thanks for reading and Happy crocheting :-)

Foundation quilting
However thanks to Beth at Piece by number and her fabulous How to links i become interested in foundation quilting / piecing. Once I saw her Free candy box heart block I loved it so much I just had to try it!
But I needed to make a quick baby quilt and didn't have the time to do a quilt with a lot of blocks... How I wanted to try the heart block now though! So I got the idea why not enlarge her block to a Huge block and have that be the quilt top!
Excited I quickly saved her FREE block, have I mentioned its FREE, I enlarged it using Block posters website , again this is also free to use, printed and taped it all together and started sewing my first piece by number project!
LESS then 1 hour later I had a finished baby quilt top..... A super cute quilt top.... I was speechless how easy and fun it was to do!
Can I have a drum roll please...... And here it is

Elastic thread photo tutorial
And don't get discouraged, when your done sewing if it doesn't look as bunched up and stretchy.... Just get it wet and throw it in the dryer and waalaa it's super scrunchy.
